Sweet & Sour Spare Ribs

3 lbs pork ribs (cut) 2 tbsp. soya sauce
2 tbsp cooking oil 1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar 2 tbsp ketup
1/4 cup vinegar 2 cups water
2 tbsp lemon juice 2 tsp. corn starch

Brown spare ribs in oil, add sugar, this will carmilize, stiring all the time. Mix vinegar, lemon juice, soya sauce, ketup and salt in a small bowel. Add this mixture to the browned ribs, stir, add water stir well. Let simmer on low for about one hour. thicken with corn starch.
Serve over rice.
