Pescateros Salmon

While we were in Victoria I had the best Salmon dish. I immediately came home and started searching for a close facsimilie. This was delish!

1 1/2 lbs salmon fillets
lemon pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste ( or 1 fresh minced garlic)
salt to taste (I didn't use any and it was fine)
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup vegetable oil or olive oil

Season salmon with lemon pepper, garlic powder and salt.

Stir together soy sauce, water, brown sugar and oil in a large zip lock bag. Smoosh around till the brown sugar dissolves. Place salmon fillet into ziplock bag and refridgerate for at least 2 hours.

You can cook this a number of ways...
Cedar plank this baby - because the cedar mixed with the sauce is to die for!
BBQ - 6 minutes each side over medium - to medium high
Bake at 450'F for 12 minutes and then broil for another 5 minutes
Foil pack loosely for 15 minutes at 425'F
