Autumn Chocolate Chip Cookies

Discovered through the wonderful Sherelle Christenson's blog. We call them Autumn cookies so Russ doesn't realize there is pumpkin in them. When he finally discovers the true ingredient, he will no likely begin hating them. I've made 4 batches of this recipe to rave reviews each time. It's a very soft cookie.

1 cup Canned Pumpkin (I used pumpkin pie filling with great results)
1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Oil
1 Egg
2 1/2 cups Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Milk
1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
2 cups Chocolate Chips

Combine pumpkin, sugar, oil, and egg. Mix well. Add four, powder, cinnamon and salt. Dissolve soda with milk and stir in. Add vanilla and chocolate chips. Mix well.

Drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.

Frosting (though these are really good on their own, you can take it up a notch with the frosting)

1/2 pkg Cream Cheese, softenend
1/2 cup Butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups Powdered Sugar
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
